Ingredients

  • 6 donuts (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup royal icing (any colors you like)
  • 6 mini pink heart sprinkles (or any small sprinkle for the nose)
  • 6 small chocolate Easter eggs
  • 6 pipe cleaners (cut in half to make pairs of ears)

Instructions

  1. Cut each pipe cleaner in half. Bend each piece into a bunny ear shape.
  2. Use a straw to gently poke two small holes at the top of each donut. Insert a pair of ears into the holes.
  3. Spread (pink) icing on each donut.
  4. Decorate the face: Place a mini heart sprinkle in the center for the nose. Use dark icing to draw eyes and whiskers around the nose.
  5. Place a small chocolate Easter egg in the center hole of each donut.

Notes

Use a straw to poke small holes for the pipe cleaner ears - it makes them easier to insert.

Keep wet wipes nearby if decorating with kids - it can get sticky fast.

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
